Our Team

	Don Bryan, PresidentDon knows no strangers; he can engage almost anyone in a conversation in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. Because of his well-known amiability, energy, ingenuity and integrity, our agency has experienced consistent growth since we began in 1984. Below is a brief sketch of the history of the agency as well as some of Don’s personal accomplishments. Their three children and six grandchildren live in the Houston area.

	Helen Bryan, SecretaryHelen has been working with Bryan Calvin Smith since our beginning in 1984. A graduate of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, she has worked in the insurance industry for 40 of the 48 years she has lived in Houston. Serving with a smile comes naturally to Helen. She enjoys the variety that comes from serving our clients’ needs and interests and extends that service as a hospital volunteer and the teacher of a third grade Bible class. She and Don are the parents of three children and six grandchildren.
	Liz Pereira, Personal Lines ManagerWhen Liz came to work with Bryan Calvin Smith in 2006, she already had ten years experience in the insurance industry. She enjoys the constant interaction with our clients, knowing that with the purchase of an insurance policy they’re also purchasing peace of mind. She appreciates working with an independent agency because it means our clients always have options. They have the flexibility to choose just the right coverage from top independent insurance carriers. Born and raised in Houston, she and her husband Winston have two young daughters, so life outside the office means “soccer, soccer and more soccer.”
